I’ll try to explain my paintings. When I’m painting I am constantly in touch with the painting. It’s a true dialogue going on. Sometimes the painting speaks in a foreign language. I’ll show you an example of one of those paintings. Other times we can communicate together and that results in a painting in which usually rythym plays an important role.

The colors are fading. Winter is on it’s way.

Blue grey skies are all around.

One can see through the window, the world fading.

Somewhere I once read: the devil doesn’t come to you with his red face and horns, he comes to you disguised as everything you’ve ever wanted…..

This painting is made after the encounter witrh the devil, barely escaped.

I’ve spent many afternoons just sitting in front of one of Kandinsky’s paintings. This painting is inspired by his work.
